In some instances clients go on holidays, or just wish to put their subscription on hold for a while.
For that reason we have enabled the ability to Pause the subscription.
Subscriptions are paid a week in advance. If the customer wishes to pause a subscription for days within that payment cycle there will be no impact of the pre-payment.
To pause a clients subscription open the Clients tab, scroll to find the client who wishes to pause their subscription and click Pause please see this short GIF below:
When the client wishes to resume their subscription, a new invoice will be issued/card will be charged. The amount on the invoice will vary depending on if you have the subscription package set up as 'payment on set day of the week' or 'payment day the package starts'.
If the payment is due on set day of the week, once again Pencil In will pro-rata the difference between the day the package starts and the day the package has been resumed.
If the subscription package is set up as 'payment due on the day the package starts' the client will be invoiced the full amount the day the package starts.
